At the 2023 NBA All-Star game, Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems stunned fans with electrifying performances, making it a night of celebration for Nigerian music.

The NBA all-star game took place in Salt City, Utah, on Sunday, February 19, 2023. There, superstars from both conferences squared off in a thrilling match to raise money for charity.

Watching the electrifying performances of Team Lebron and Team Giannis was not the only highlight of the night, as Nigerian Afrobeats megastars, Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema also shared the spotlight as they thrilled fans in what was an Afrobeats-themed performance.

Burna Boy, a Nigerian megastar who was introduced by Pascal Siakam, a Cameroonian star, opened the show with an exciting performance of “Anybody” supported by his captivating Outsiders Band.

Rema performed next, wowing the audience with his worldwide smash single “Calm Down” and an impressive rendition of his new single “Holiday.”

Tems, a Grammy-winning singer, also wowed audiences with her class and stage presence during performances of her hit singles “Free Mind” and “Higherer,” followed by “Essence.”

Burna Boy came back to perform his smash hits “YE” and “Last Last” to close the show. A presentation that further demonstrated his determination as one of the world’s best-performing acts.

The All-Star game was won by Team Giannis by 184 points to Team Lebron’s 175, on what was said to be an exciting night.

Fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming NBA all-star game in Indianapolis in 2024 will undoubtedly recall the Nigerian trio’s performances.
