The Federal High Court In Abuja has ordered the National Assembly to halt the plan to take over the legislative duties of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Justice Taiwo Taiwo gave the order at the resumed hearing on Wednesday Igbere TV report.
Edo State Government had filed the case challenging the National Assembly’s directive to Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo to issue a fresh proclamation of the state’s House Of Assembly in save days.
Justice Taiwo ordered parties in the case to maintain status quo pending the determination of the case.
