Peter Okoye of the P-Square music group has revealed that the pain of millions of Nigerians who are affected by the nation’s economic reality, is the force behind the popularity of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

According to the singer who took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday to drum support for Obi, the Obidient movement is no longer about the former Anambra governor but about rescuing the country.

“The Power behind @PeterObi is the pains of millions of Nigerians who deserve a better life but were failed by the corrupt Politicians! This is no longer about @PeterObi

“This is about the millions of Frustrated Nigerians/Youths who wants to take their anger to the BALLOT BOX”, he posted.

Peter Okoye and his brother Paul Okoye have been staunch supporters of Peter Obi, believing that the LP candidate possess the ability to rescue the nation from its woes.
