Didi Ekanem, a well-known actress in Nollywood, has explained why she would happily marry a man who is like her coworker Sylvester Madu.
Didi made this statement as she was responding to a recent video in which Sylvester defends his business after he was seen selling secondhand clothes in Enugu under the name “Okrika.”
It will be recalled that a video of the actor showcasing his wares at a market in Enugu surfaced on the internet over the weekend.
This sparked mixed reactions online, with many expressing disbelief that the renowned actor was now selling clothes in a market.
Addressing his detractors, Sylvester disclosed that he brought in some goods from overseas and personally chose to sell them because of his light schedule.
He said he has people who usually handle the sales for him, but he decided to come out himself because he had free time.
Sylvester also chided people berating him for selling clothes, stating that Nigerians would rather celebrate people who make money illegally than those with legit work.
Reacting to his statement, actress Didi Ekanem praised the actor for engaging in a legal business. She added that she would marry a man like him without any hesitation and would willingly join him in
running his business.
According to Didi, she would choose a man like him because she would feel secure and at ease knowing her spouse is not involved in fraud or other illicit activities.
“I have so much respect for you sir.. This is the type of man I can literally marry in a heartbeat and join him to knowing that I will sleep well at night,” she wrote.
