Ini Edo and Chinenye Nworah fighting over Netflix movie “Shanty Town”

Nollywood actress Ini Edo is said to be involved in a court dispute with Chinenye Nworah over the ownership of their series, ‘Shanty Town’.

The two heavyweights are believed to have disputed who owns Shanty Town. It was said that Edo wrote a cease and desist letter to Netflix, requesting that the streaming provider not strike a deal with Nworah for the series’ sequel.

In a letter sent by Ini Edo’s lawyers, the actress claimed that 5% of the proceeds belonged to the producers rather than only Nworah.

The fashionista also stated that Nworah inked an arrangement with two other companies granting ownership rights to three people.

In reaction to Ini Edo’s purported legal challenge, Nworah stated that the movie is completely hers. She characterized her claims as false and spiteful.
