In another tweet on the 26th of March he stated his reasons why he made the statement which was not all bants but from a spiritual point of view.
Notwithstanding the fact that he made some bants about Super Eagles the actor was quick to applaud Davido via his Twitter handle.
“I’m really happy for @davido. Seeing him perform on stage at the FIFA World Cup event really made me proud as an African,” he tweeted.
In addition, the World Cup official track “Hayya Hayya” featuring Davido, Trinidad Cardona and Aisha hit 6 million views on YouTube.
