Mercy Aigbe, has announced that she has converted to Islam, her husband, Kazim Adeoti’s religion

The popular thespian, who had earlier revealed that she was observing the Ramadan fast with her husband, made this revelation while being interviewed during a Ramadan lecture and special prayers hosted by herself and her husband.

During the interview, the mother of two announced her conversion to Islam and her new name.

Insha Allah, My new name is Hajia Meenah Mercy Adeoti. Meenah with the H,” Mercy revealed.

Meanwhile, in July 2022, Mercy Aigbe had revealed that she was considering converting to Islam while she gushed over her new mode of dressing.

Speaking further, she affirmed that we all serve one God and that was what mattered.

In her words,

“Let me not lie, I am enjoying this new Hajia looks  I might just become an Alhaja for real, the thing is sweeting me  but o ma le di e jare! At the end we serve one God ”
