In an interview with Bounce Network’s Ebuka on the BlackBox, the music icon revealed that Wizkid left his former record label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) owing the label three albums.
In his words;
“I think it was a five-album deal, and he had done two solo albums… I think he still owed three more albums, but he wanted to leave. And for me, that was enough because I don’t want anybody to stay where they want to stay.”
Furthermore, Banky W expressed his disappointment about Wizkid’s absence at his wedding.
“Yes I was disappointed Wizkid didn’t come for my wedding but I know he tried”.
Banky W also gave more insight about his relationship with Wizkid.
