Police Arrest Motorcycle Thief After His Father Reported Him In Kaduna

The Kaduna State Police Command has apprehended a motorcycle thief after his father reported him to the authorities.

ASP Mansir Hassan, the Command’s spokesperson, confirmed the arrest to journalists in Kaduna on Monday. According to Hassan, the suspect, Sani Nafiu, was seen by his father with a motorcycle suspected to be stolen from Abuja.

Upon receiving the information, police operatives promptly arrested Nafiu, who resides in Tijjani Kaya quarters in Giwa Local Government Area.

Investigations revealed that Nafiu had allegedly stabbed Mr. Shamsu Jamilu, aged 28, of Danja, at Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory before stealing his motorcycle while he was unconscious.

The suspect has been apprehended, and the stolen motorcycle has been recovered. The police stated that investigations are ongoing, and upon completion, Nafiu will be charged to court for prosecution.
