Student in her third year who was allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend

After allegedly being stabbed by her boyfriend, a Tshwane University of Technology third-year student passed away.

On February 2, 2023, 20-year-old Ntokozo Mayenzi Xaba was allegedly stabbed to death in her student residence in Ekhaya Junction, Pretoria.

After Ntokozo’s friends were unable to reach her phone, they notified security at her student housing.

When security personnel arrived at Ntokozo’s apartment to conduct an inspection, they discovered her dead with numerous upper-body stab wounds.

After further investigation, the South African Police Service (SAPS) was notified, and a male suspect was arrested on a murder charge.

The suspect, who was the last person Ntokozo was seen with before she passed away, is thought to be her boyfriend.

At this point, we do not yet know what motivated the murder.
