A son-in-law to ex-governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, Uche Nwosu, tells CHIDIEBUBE OKEOMA that the former governor is ready to make peace with his successor, Hope Uzodinma
Why did Senator Rochas Okorocha visit the Royal Spring Palm Estate, Owerri, which had been sealed off by the Imo State Government?
Owelle Rochas Okorocha went to the estate because he had earlier reached out to security chiefs and none of them knew who or why the estate was sealed. Don’t forget that the estate belongs to his wife. Curiosity and quest to know the identity of the persons occupying the estate made Senator Okorocha to go there. Don’t forget that he went to the estate on a fact-finding mission.
He went there to find out why some persons whose identities were not known by the police and State Security Services could be laying siege to a property that belongs to his wife. As we speak, there is no law or court judgment stating that Royal Spring Palm Estate does not belong to the wife of Senator Rochas Okorocha. So, Okorocha visited the estate with few of his personal aides to find out why certain security men laid siege to the place without the knowledge of the police and the State Security Services. Okorocha was only on a fact-finding mission. There was nothing more to this, before he was attacked.
